It is now attracting more and more tourists towards it. As per one ratio it was found that round about 1 million people visited Lebanon in the year 2000 which increased to one and a half million in the year 2002 and it is increasing more and more as the time is passing.

Lebanon is situated on the Eastern Mediterranean sea, between 35° 36'.40° longitude east and 33° 34'.40 latitude north. The weathers in summers and winters here is quite moderate. Mostly the climate there is of Mediterranean that has rainy winters and long summer season. There is no amount of rainfall between the months June and 0ctober.
Throughout the year the climate out here is pleasant and the sun shines brightly and so tourists can take the maximum advantage of their holidays. Sometimes there is snowfall on the mountains during the winters. Bekaa valley is a high plateau that separates the two mountains of the Lebanon. In the countryside you would find many rocks, cedar trees and remains of animals that can be seen from the mountains.
Traveling in Lebanon is quite cheaper and if you have a driving license you can even take a car on rent or can ask for a driver. There is a good work done in improvising the roads of the cities to facilitate the people after the great impact of the war. But one should be very much aware of the traffic rules and always follow them to avoid the problems.
People living in Lebanon mostly follow the Christian or the Islam religion. The ratio of the followers of the Islam and the Christianity religion is mostly the same and only around twenty percent of the people follow some other religion.
There are many bars and clubs and people out there are the ones who love to celebrate their weekends with great fun and pleasure.
