Swaziland, surrounded by South Africa to the north-west and Mozambique to the east, is considered to be one of the most beautiful countries of Africa.

People hardly knew anything about this place until an Italian & African syndicate built a casino in the 1990s. Major cities of this country are: Mbabane, Manzini and Lombamba. Mbabane is the administrative capital of this country; all sorts of administrative and judicial works are done from here. Manzini is like the business hub and various types of shops can be found here. Matsapha is the industrial estate and Lombamba is the legislative capital of Swaziland. The green and lush Ezulwini valley is so gorgeous that it can be taken as a gift from the God.
The Royal Swazi golf course is also another interesting place for the visitors. As we know that Africa is famous for its deep forests and wildness of nature, there are many to see in Swaziland. Reservation of wild-life is given a great importance in this country. Mlane Royal National Park, Malolotja reserve forest are some of the true reflections of the wildlife of Africa. This is a land of some of the great sanctuaries and beautiful landscapes of the world. Mkhaya game reserve is another place to watch in this country of forests and mountains.
The tea-roads on the way to Mdzimba Mountains will give lots of pleasure for the eyes of the visitors. The most famous waterfall of this country is Mantenga Falls.Like any other African countries winter is the best time to go here, so the ideal time to visit here would be from May to August. In this time of the year the weather remains pleasant and the animals can be found easily.
But if someone is keen to watch various types of birds then the best for him will be between January to April. Another crucial feature of this country is that the festivals, dance and the other rituals are celebrated all through the year. Getting to Swaziland is not that tough as many flights go there from Kenya and other parts of Africa. |
