You can begin with Victoria fall the major striking place in Zimbabwe; the fall expands to an astonishing distance of around 1.7km wide and has a drop of around 90m and 107m which falls into the Zambezi Gorge which is packed with rare wildlife. As Zimbabwe is rich in wild life recourses, there are many national parks like Hwange National Park also called Game Park, Chimanimani National Park Matobo National Park, Mana Pools National Park which have helped to save the wildlife of Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwe can give you rare opportunity to see white rhino. It is the only place in the world where you could find this animal. So don’t forget to visit Matobo national park. Zimbabwe is also famous for its botanical gardens and forests. Vumba National Park is one of the most beautiful botanical garden in the country and rather says in the world.
And if you are a bird lover! There are lots of niches to see the bird in Zimbabwe which comprises of Bulawayo, Honde Valley, Chimanimani, Ewanrigg Harare, Botanical Gardens, Hwange NP, Mana Pools, Lake Kyle, Victoria Falls and Matobo NP.
Apart from the nature you can also found some other interesting places to see like Bulawayo Museum of Natural History which includes in sequence on zoology, geology, anthropology, paleontology and history of Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwe is very rich in its culture as Zimbabwean artists are world famous. They make a living out of traditional arts like basketry, pottery, jewellery, textiles and carving. The work is sparkling. English is the official language of Zimbabwe and shona is native language. |
